A week after being announced as the next generation of the world’s most popular software, Microsoft’s latest iteration of Windows 8 is already well under way.
As a new OS, the OS has been in development for a year and it looks set to continue the trend of cutting-edge technology and cutting-out the old.
In fact, Microsoft has been releasing some of the software for some time now, and it’s been showing up in a growing number of handsets and devices.
It’s also been the platform that many users have been waiting for the most, so to speak.
The OS is already getting a boost in popularity, with more than 1.2 million devices running the latest version of Windows, according to a report by research firm Gartner.
“This is the most-used OS in the world, and its a big boost for the industry, and we’re thrilled with it,” said Craig Mundy, chief executive of PCMark.
Windows 8 is expected to have a major impact on the software industry, according a new report from the Software and Services Alliance (SSA).
Its the first OS to be launched in the Windows ecosystem after the release of the original Windows 95 in 1997, and the OS is expected have a significant impact on software companies.
It is built for the power of the cloud and is built to be used across a variety of devices.
“The Windows ecosystem is one of the fastest growing in the industry,” said Andrew Bostrom, director of the Center for the Internet of Things at Carnegie Mellon University.
“It’s a new world order.”
Windows 8 offers many of the tools that are needed for developers to build software and apps that can run across all devices.
For example, Microsoft developed its own scripting language, Windows Universal Scripting 2.0 (WS2), which is used in the Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual Basic 6 programming languages.
WS2 allows developers to create scripts that are run on Windows 10 devices, for example, and to make use of the new Cortana voice assistant, which has been available on phones for more than a year.
Microsoft also developed its Azure SDK for building applications that run across Windows devices.
Windows 8.1, the latest iteration, has been built with a focus on improving security and reliability, making it a bit more user friendly than Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Windows 8 also brings a new set of features, including Cortana, which is able to help users with common tasks such as booking a flight and finding and installing software updates, and a redesigned Start menu that is easier to use.
It also includes the ability to install third-party apps from the Windows Store.
Windows 10, also known as Windows 10 Anniversary Update, was released on July 29.
It adds new features and updates the user interface to bring the user experience to a new level.
Windows 10 also introduces a new feature called Cortana, an intelligent assistant that can assist users with tasks and commands.
The Microsoft app store has been updated to offer a variety, including Office 365, Bing and Bing Maps.
Microsoft is also offering its Bing Assistant, which allows you to search the web for relevant information, or to get directions from a location, using the Bing Maps API.
Windows is one thing that Microsoft has taken a lot of time to build for, Mundy said.
“We really didn’t really have to do much, really,” he said.
“I think that’s been a huge win for Microsoft.”
The company has been working on a new version of the OS for a few years now, Mundys said.
The last release was Windows 10 Home.
Microsoft released Windows 10 Mobile for phones and tablets in 2016.
Microsoft has also built a new operating system called Windows 10 IoT.
The next version of Microsoft’s OS will likely be announced at a major event in early 2020, and Mundys expects that will be followed by the next major OS update for Windows 10.
